20T pinion? Holy cow! Shooting for 50-60mph?

I'm running a 16T on my 1700kv motor setup.

Very nice rig! Good to see a few getting done ;)

I had no idea on where to start pinionwise, but yeah I guess it will be too fast, and geared down shortly. I have a few pinions to try with, wo I will find the correct setup.

I am alo considering a lower kv motor, but I will give it a shot with the 2000 kv.

Just gave the truck its first ride, and yes 20t pinion on a 2000 kv motor, is way overpowered. So changed the setup to 16t pinion, and will see how it goes.
