even with the lower power motors it came with metal drive shafts
Pretty much everyone used metal dog-bones or CVDs until Traxxas came out with the plastic slider-style driveshaft. There were a few companies/cars that used plastic dog-bones, like the Futaba FX10, Tamiya Striker, & Tamiya Falcon, but like I said, I believe pretty much all the rest used metal until Traxxas showed them the way!
