No offense to Matt but that lehner should rip but it won't because Matt doesn't run any of his truck which explains how his ESCs can afford to be mounted so high.
Nice score Matt!! My favorite part on the truck is the towers! I love what they do for the truck! Next is the Power Strokes. Then the FLM and Gmaxx tranny combination together. Its a rare thing to see them together. It took me hours to get the cases to fit together then hours more to get the gears to mesh nicely. Are these recent purchases where as maybe the FLM fixed the case? The Strobe+sprong= very nice too!! I'm jealous!

Dont see many of the anodized chassis around, let alone suspension too. That motor will be awesome, though a Plett will match the color scheme a bit better perhaps
But yeah, that esc is mount up wayyyy too high- make an L shaped tray for it to mount where the 2nd motor would normally ( using the same mounting holes too ), that'll keep the CoG down and protect the esc and wires at the same time; looks silly mounted how it is now.

FLiM trani went together very easily with Gmaxx half case!
I also lowered the esc mount as instructed...DONT WANT MY SHIZZLE TO LOOK SILLY!
We will run the Lehrner today and Plett tomorrow! The long output shaft on the single speed trani looks TWISTABLE!!!
I am all charged up and headed out to the yard in about 30 minutes!
Technically the Gmaxx is my 10 year olds truck! We are ditching the last NITRO! He will be testing the truck for us!!!!
I have a very nice tmaxx fore sale with new Picco .26 small block nitro engine!

you MEN will not believe this!!!
The Gmaxx on 5s2p Zippy's ran for 1hour 20 minutes...We were not at a race track just in my sodded back yard...It ran and ran and ran and ran!
The 1950 has Hella power, more than enough for the Gmaxx.
FYI: 51/16 was PERFECT gearing....motor was never over 120,esc hit 160 auto cut off a couple times...MY MMM didn't burn..I DONT HAVE ONE ,thank god!The schulze 18.97 is working like a champ, still!

Very impressive about the battery. As you stated I love that the Maxx platform is 10 years old and still does well. I don't care what you say a fully modded maxx will perform with current gen. Long live the maxx.
BTW backflips never did twist that output shaft you are talking about with my truck pared with that exact tranny setup.
I retrack some of what I said about you not running your trucks Matt. Sounds like a ton of fun!
I can't see how anyone melts there MMM. Mine has been through it ALL. I understand however that you are partial to the schulze.

Beautiful G-Maxx. Looks so good I almost wouldn't run it.
As far as I know the steel output shaft is pretty robust, but I've grenaded a ton of those aluminum ones.
That's some GREAT runtime! Though actually I would try to alter the gearing a bit to bring the ESC temp down.

Typically a warm ESC means slightly overgeared so try the 52T spur in place of the 51T that's on there. It's a small difference but a difference nonetheless, it might be just enough to bring the ESC down into a decent range.
Also, the PowerStrokes are fantastic shocks. I loved the set I had. I found that performance wise they were the best shocks I've ever used on a Maxx.
