Try forcing an update. This version of software doesn't change the bootloader, so it should still connect correctly with the Link.

Just heard there is a problem with this release and the original Mamba Max (with the USB port on-board.)

We are pulling the release until we fix this problem.

You can still update the Mamba Max with a Castle Link, but there was an issue with the USB driver on the Mamba Max.

Wish I would have read this an hour earlier. My son just updated his Castle Link and plugged in his Mamba Max through the USB port. He now has a totally dead Mamba Max. Any way of fixing this?

The only way to fix it as this time is to use the Castle Link adapter and hook it up to the Mamba Max via the receiver wire. If you do not have a Castle Link adapter, please give us a call in tech support or throw up a post here, we'll get you setup with a fix.

Our engineers are working on a solution at this time, but it does not appear the controllers that have been updated will work with the side USB port until they are updated via the receiver wire and the adapter chip. If you do have an adapter chip, your updated Mamba Max will connect just fine. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks Thomas you saved us AGAIN!!!. Plugged in Castle Link through the chip rather than the USB port and finished the update. The Mamba lives again

Well that's great!! I lost mine in the move a couple years ago. I did mine today and it no longer recognizes on the computer, $%^*!!!!!

To top it all off, I can neither afford to send it in or buy the castle link right now, so i'm officially out of rc for now

Do you guys not know what BETA means? It means not finished, may have bugs, use at your own risk! If you can't do without your ESC, don't use beta software on it!

Sorry dude, I was ticked off at the time. I knew the risks, should have read the four pages before DL'ing, lesson learned. I had to do a major reboot to my computer and just DL'ed it not knowing about the updates.

Now then, will the castle program card work to reboot the mamba? I know it can be used as a link to the computer as does the castle link. Been meaning to get one and now is a good reason as any
