Alternative for Jammin X2 center dogbones? - 07.14.2010, 08:07 AM

I am upgrading my Jammin X1 with a Jammin X2 carbon-fiber chassis from Moos Racing. This means I will also have to get new center dogbones due to the difference in center diff placement.

The thing is the Jammin X2 alloy center dogbones are ~$40 for the pair, and I was hoping I could find a cheaper alternative (also more durable, I'd rather have steel than the stock X2 alloy ones). The sizes are 92mm and 118mm. Can anyone throw me a bone (pun intended) on what dogbones I might be able to substitute?

Thanks in advance for any help!

So far I know none, I upgraded my x1 to x2 also. Try eBay. I was thinking to get the carbon chassis but held back as my track has stones n it will crack.

Let me know how it runs

I ended up picking up a Jammin X2 roller to use as a donor/parts car. It was going to cost almost as much to buy the dogbones, input cups, and chassis braces new, so it made more sense to buy a roller and get all the other parts. Should get the CF chassis going together pretty soon.
