Reversed polarity RX8 and back to life - 07.17.2010, 08:33 AM

Being not aware of reversed polarity of battery wires, I burnt the plug seriously.
The switch stayed off while this accident happened.
Then I checked the esc and no visual damage found.
I rewired the input wires and plug to my battery again.
The unit was back to life magically.
I wonder to know will it safe to use the esc?
Should I send it back to Tekin and have it inspected?

just run it, if it flames up it cost just as much to repair as if it didnt, if you send it out and its fine then you are out postage and play time

You're lucky, rarely does that happen.

But if it powers up and runs normally you're good.
