I guess we all have our dreams. I wonder what he plans to do for a living now that he has reached his lifetime goal of breaking that record? Impressive achievement no doubt. But now what?
This kind of reminds me of that woman who was going for that deepest dive record without any kind of breathing aparatus. I think it was like 1000 feet on one breath, but her cable riggings malfunctioned on her way up, and her rescue team was not fast enough to save her, so she drownd. I just don't see the point of it all. Who will remember thier names ten years from now? I know that I won't. All that training time spent in solitude while missing out on real life and R/C fun racing/bashing time. Not me. I prefer to spend my time creating something. Like Furniture, or cabinets that my family can enjoy long after I am gone, or improving relationships with those I love and who love me. My wife and I have talked about what happens when I am gone. I have a nice collection of incredible R/C toys to leave my kids. Plus all of my tools for making things that can be useful to whomever uses them.
I did watch some really cool free diving videos that were set to music. Incredible how long people can stay down. Not as good as Kevin Costner in Waterworld, but he is a professional actor and likely did alot of training for that movie. But still an achievement if you are 2nd to him, cause everyone knows that Costner is the best, even Chuck Norris.
Why so down on people Jerry? If that is what makes them happy I say go for it. I can imagine it is quiet down there, that alone would be a big draw for alot of us, seeking to escape the noise of society...
Sorry James, I don't mean to be that way, but I am a very practacle man with pretty basic thinking. I know there are lot of reasons to want to do what certain animals are able to do easily, but swimming like a fish or flying like a bird without special equipment was just not meant to be. I was rasied to believe that we should be happy with the gifts that God provided for us, and not to push the boundries of our own physical abilities to points of stupidity.
Sure its cool to watch just about anything like watching Evil Kenieval jump rediculous distances on a modified sport bike. Sure I watched, and saw exactly what I expected to see. We humans will watch just about anything and be impressed or amused, but some things are better left to the animals who were put here to do just what they do because of their special physical abilities. How much of a moron do you have to be to try catching a bullet being shot out of a 357 Magnum with your teeth? Its just stupid to believe that you can. God's system of natural selection to keep certain breeds/spiecies from reproducing I guess.
I guess we all have our dreams. I wonder what he plans to do for a living now that he has reached his lifetime goal of breaking that record? Impressive achievement no doubt. But now what?
How long can he go without peeing? How long can he keep it in?
Cool. This is actually my other hobby, freediving. But I prefer to go as deep as I can instead with nothing else than my mask, my wetsuit and my monofin

Well I prefer to dive as deep as I can as well, but not with a single fin or anything else for that matter. The deeper the better she says.
How long can he go without peeing? How long can he keep it in?
I'm sure the ladies would like to know How about how long can he keep it up?
