Sad but that's usually the case. I guess we can only hope the people who die as a direct result of this are the ones who let it happen or took part in letting it happen. But most of the time that's not the case. A little acountability would go a long way in this day and age.

I edited your question mark because there should be no question about that. If there is one thing our country does that pisses me off is help all those countries who are hundreds of years from considered "modern". What good does it actually do? It might make some people feel all warm and fuzzy inside, just not me.

Case and point- Our country felt it necessary to give every child in Africa a new laptop..... The kid next door to me doesn't have a laptop. I'm pretty sure he'd be more productive with it.
