Looking for some stupid big tires and wheels... - 08.25.2010, 12:23 AM

So winter is on the way and I would like to get some ridicuous sized wheels and tires for both my XT8 and my Losi XXL. Both running a MMM and the xt8 is 2200 and the XXL a 1520 if im not mistaken.

Any project SNOW is right around the corner and I will start waterproofing my MMMs very soon in preparation. Shoot me some ideas on what you would run. I do have some losi 420s but they are so boring.

I really want some Jumbo Kongs to mess with even though they are very impractical...just what I like.

HPI terra pins are huge and stupid ;)

I put them on my truggy last winter, and it was down right idiotic. It was fun until you tried to turn and the wheels hit the body.

The IMEX jumbo kongs are probably your best bet for what you want to do with them. Sounds like fun. Good luck with that.

You could try those Axial tires/wheels. I think Linc had a set he was talking about selling - they are very soft though. Other than that, peruse the RC4WD site - they have some big tires/wheel set ups.

Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES

Imex jumbo chevrons are pretty epic:

http://www.imexrc.com/servlet/the-12/imex-tires/Detail

The imex jumbo rims are 14mm hex, but the tires will fit ofna monster pirate and titan ( I think ) jumbo sized rims perfectly- tgose have a 17mm hex I believe.

I might try that one day but really I am still thinking about doing like a Gravedigger Monster truck rally truck. I think my nephews will dig it and it will be cool terrorizing thru the snow.
