how to built motor mount - 11.29.2010, 07:23 AM

HI
I bought my first rc-monster conversion and it's arrived today. The kit includes 2 bushings one alu and one black. Which bushing and where should I put to screw the motor to the mount with M3 screws?

Black one goes on the bottom of the mount, silver one goes on he top.

Thanks for the info. I mounted the kit but I'm not happy with battery mount because I can't tighten the screws enough which connects battery mount to the chassis. When I tighten them they turn idle. I'm afraid of loosing them during run. Is it same way by you too?

Are you saying you think you stripped the battery tray mounting holes out? Are they plastic holes or brass inserts?

I have never heard of anyone having issues with RCM battery trays coming off.

I am not sure I understand then, what is stopping you from tightening them enough? The holes not deep enough for the screws?

Not sure what to tell you then, I guess contact Mike.

You are sure you didn't strip them yourself or cross-thread the threads when tightening the screws?
