New Winterbreak Project! ~ PC, not RC :/

So...

I had a "client", rather person bring me up a, well.. abused to all hell computer.

I received it with the front bezel (you know, the plastic part that covers up the bare metal on the front? yeah, that part), in literally, pieces.
They're somewhere in my room... well, under the chair, but it's so brittle and beatup, if I pick it up it'll snap..
Well, in any case, I think it was well, kicked, multiple times.

So, I was looking for any advice on bashing the front fan mesh (as seen in pictures), as well as parts of the frame back into shape, well, mostly back into shape.

My thoughts were mostly lay it on its face/front on a smooth concrete floor (I was thinking our garage, has some weird smooth (I guess epoxy, but wouldn't know) layer ontop of the concrete. Maybe wax, whatever, or on our outside patio which is fairly smooth in some parts, and not rough). Take a nice rubber mallet, and start pounding away, however, I'm not sure how far I'd get before getting flustered and start kickin the other side in..

But I'm not sure there's any other way to get it back into shape...

My plans for it is to REALLY fix it up (already got a new front bezel, side panels and maybe door in the future!) and use it as my main case (yay for no more $10 cases!).
Mainly because it's supposedly "ninja-silent", and pretty much, just looks cool!

So to fix it up:
I need to clean it thoroughly (there's so much buildup of dirt, or whatever..) in here, it's like clay, the silicone they used to dampen like the harddrives, and fans, are now brown.. Gonna pop those in a cup with hot water and rub the dirt out, hopefully..

Smash the front back into shape, fab up a new fan controller plate (I've been taping a bunch of PCI controllers with electrical tape).. and opening up a few 5.25" bays to control..

Not much of a difficult project, but much better than what I've been doing previously.

EDIT: so did this person bring this PC to you in this condition, or did something happen while you were repairing it??

They brought it to me in this condition.
No way in hell I'd bash such a nice case up.
I was actually goggling at this case when I was younger, maybe 3-4 years ago when it just came out...

I forgot to mention:

As a deal with my "client", he gave me the case + $40 or so, and I did his busy work for him, I think I turned out great, just spent over 2 hours watching Pawn Stars on Netflix and with this thing on my side with a rag cleaning the heck out of it.

Gonna take it out to the garage with the mallet in an hour or two, and see how it goes!
