Since the 1415 uses the same rotor as the 1515 1y , same diameter only longer then the 2650, it should be capable of more torque.
crusey, I've been thinking about the temps you have seen. The only thing I can come up with is that the 2650 has more surface area to disapate heat. With 2 motors of equal efficiency, the motor with the most surface area should run cooler. But with the 1415 having the bigger rotor, it should be running more efficient at higher wattage.
I guess it's also possible that Castle had to lower the quality of the 1415, to get it in the price range they were shooting for, so maybe it is not as efficient.
