SV27 nitro to brushless - 06.26.2011, 08:54 PM

Getting my toes wet picked up a nitro sv27 hull with hardware.

- sealed the hull
- made a motor mount
- dropped in a medusa 60mm 2000kv and hydra 120 amp
- 4s lipo

Looks cool!

What was the reasoning behind using the nitro hull as opposed to the BL one? Just curious, I know little about these things.

I think he got it cheap/free.

Looks good chris, a very fun boat to run. Just make sure you tape the hatch as you will flip it over!!! I need to get my sv27 up and running again.

Free hull :)

I sealed all of the nitro holes and bought tape.

Sadly the hydra doesn't fit in the box so has to sit up top.

Nothing like free for sure!

I have been debating a boat for a long time. It's just so much more limited I end up passing it every time.
