Switching limit for Mamba Monster and the XL

Hey guys. I am thinking of fitting a couple of 6 pole motors to couple of my cars. What I would like to know is the maximum switching speed of the the Mamba Monster and the Mamba Monster XL. Just a little worried that my ESC wont be able to turn the motors to their full speeds on higher voltages.

One is 2400kv and I want to run it on 5S with the Monster. The other is 1650kv and was thinking of trying that one on 7S with the Monster XL. Would this work fine?
Also what is likely to happen to the ESC once it's switching limit is reached? Is it likely to blow up or just not accelerate the motor past that speed?

I had zero issues running multiple Tenshock motors on all kind of Castle ESC's

Viper / CZ / CZII
2220/7
2230/5-7
2240/5
CZII 2230/6

On XL
2760/7
2240/5-7

all of those are 6 Pole and the 2760 is a 8 pole

It sounds like Ken Block needing to shift. Traxxas Vxl top out then bounce up and down the last 1000-2000 rpms.
