OK, I'm being childish but I thought the conversation below was worthy of repeating for a chuckle...

New owner; "What am i doing wrong.. i unlocked it and check the speed while the car is on the stand. still tops out at 54mph. i restarted everything and still same problem. relocked and unlocked again, same problem.
Put it on training mode and took it back off.
went through the settings and changed it to the correct gearng.. always shows top speed of 54mph. Weird"

Reply; "You still need to change the pinion and spur....."

Boom boom. I think someone will get hurt soon playing with these things

I went on the traxxas forums and found that thread, but could not read most of the jibberish/ebonics kids type in over there so I left. I would like to smack their English teacher across the face.

It's bad we still don't know much about the XO because these types are the only ones with them thus far. I think they have all been wrecked already. Lol

I can see it now; noob tries to show off to his friends how fast his new car is, jabs the throttle and car takes off like a rocket down the less than smooth street. Hits a small lump, bump or chipping ( which might as well be 6" deep pot hole or small boulder ) and veers wildly to the left or right, smashes into the curb of a storm drain, explodes into a million shards of traxxas-quality plastic. Noob cries & blames traxxas & castle for the car not being strong enough or being too hard to steer....

Still no real videos out yet? The noobs must be having a hard time driving straight enough to get to any youtube worthy speeds.

You have to learn how to walk before you can run or at least be able to chew gum and walk at the same time.

I like that one where the guy sent his down a storm drain and had to pry up a manhole cover to get it.

I like the one where the kid is complaining that the radio is junk. Kinda reminds of those threads where the person doesnt even own anything and is just trolling.
