Possible 24mm hex for truggy's - 09.11.2011, 08:25 AM

http://www.hpieurope.com/parts.php?lang=fr&partNo=30108

I was looking at the dogbone when I saw the hex's. This would be handy for the guy's doing muggy5b builds. They only seem to be available from hpi-europe. Of course, I don't know exactly if they will fit a truggy but these look different to the ones avaliable elsewhere - http://www.hpiracing.com/products/en/102530/

Has anyone got these?

Looking closely at it, they might need a liitle modding

I think those are for the Savage 5T that HPI brought out. The car was an epic fail. Powered by the crappy 5.9 nitro engine it was gutless and handled like crap. Turning circle was about the same as a bus. It only went on sale in Europe and here in Australia but was caned very early on. I doubt that HPI even make any parts for it anymore. I think you will have a very hard time tracking any of those parts down.

Brushless would've fixed that So the kit is no longer available!? Oh well, just thought I found an alternative to 23mm hex and al-foil. Not really surprised abou the handling side of it. The wheelbase works well for a 2wd but not ideal for 4wd.

Thanks for the info bigblock.
