castle Cap Pak Results -

OK, in my CC baja 5t with Mamba XL2 my ripple was 6.4% consistantly.
With the Castle Cap Pak, my Ripple is now 4.6%. So, it seems to lower ripple. Nice piece of extra protection.
Needs a Heavy Duty soldering Iron to install. A light duty soldering iron won't cut it.

+1 on a high wattage iron
I usally find 30w sufficant but the cap pack was a hard one, this on 10agw wires. bet 8 would be even more difficult.

For the record, I am not
sure
they are Panasonic, that's just what they look like to me. I did a low-esr cap search on ebay and found the ones with the "M" logo (like the ones on CC's pics) were Panasonic.

That's right BrianG, M logo means Matsushita, the name of the company groups who manufactures the Panasonic/National/NAIS/Technics stuff.
