Looking for new bigger FRONT shocks for my Ten T - 12.02.2011, 05:41 PM

Hey all,

Just picked up a new ten t and the RCM kit on it cheap! However, it did not come with shocks. I have a set of buggy fronts for the rear but I am having a hard time finding a set to fit the front. Now, I am looking to upgraded to a bigger bore over a stock set. Any ideas would be helpful

I did measure from the top mounting point on the tower to the longest, furthest, hole on the A arm with the arm fully extended, and it measured 89mm if this helps. Some of the shock kits on other sites do not list overall lengths

Thanks!

Have you looked into the Revo shocks? Not sure if they are big-bore enough for you:

Funny you should mention the Revo shocks. I have a set on my slash 4x4 I can try to see if they fit and thought about trying them.

Thanks!

Could someone measure the front shocks on a D8T or D8B for me and let me know what the measurements are from mounting hole to mounting hole

Thank you

4" (101mm) with the shocks still mounted in the truggy.

I can take one side out and measure again if you need me to.

Thanks Nick....I will keep those in mind if my set up does not work to my liking. I did fit the truggy with a set of GTR shocks and they do fit, but, they do not give me the amount travel I am looking for so we shall see

Thanks again!

Also, the RC8B fronts fit the rear perfectly

Thats good news about the RC8 shocks. I'll keep mine that I have for my Ten T that I'm about to grab.

Let me know if you find a better sub for the fronts.

Thanks,
Nick
