Strapped a G Meter to the Truggy today. - 09.03.2012, 06:41 PM

Was slightly bored, so I strapped my old iPhone to the Truggy today to get some 4S and 6S acceleration figures.

the 4S accleration figures and top speed were great.

the 6S figures? Not so great. Scary stuff I tell you. I still haven't found a tire set that I own that can handle that kind of acceleration and speed without blowing the tires away. The front right wheel had some serious balance issues that weren't at all noticible on 4S. And the front left turned into a pizza cutter that wore down about a 1cm patch in the very middle of the tire. Between the two front tires issues I couldn't control the truggy at all near full throttle so I gave up once the glue bead broke on the front right tire. I did take some short video, but since I was driving one handed yet again while filming right handed the footage is shaky and doesn't always follow the truggy when I'm splitting my attention. So I gave up yet again. I need a tripod, or a friend to help me out with video one of these days.
