40 series tires and 3.7 LPR wheels? - 01.23.2012, 09:33 AM

Anyone ever try it? Does anyone have a set of 40 series (standard bead 3.8) and LPR 3.7 that can see how they fit? I have a set of Trenchers and would really like a 1/2 offset rim, thinking Relux half ups, but there isn't much out there anymore for standard bead. There's a few I like with the Traxxas bead, but the mounting is different and will leave the bead of the tire exposed looking like crap.

I went with the geode rims cause they pushed my tires out a little further.
Not sure exactly what the offset is over others.
Just to throw that out there.

The geodes are a 1/2 offset, but they have the new Traxxas style bead. You can't mount standard bead tires on them and my Trenchers are the standard bead version.

I got you now.
I forgot the trenchers come in both styles of beads.
Had a set of rims on ebay with offset but was beadlocks.
Think they was made my axil or something.
