HV servo pulsing? - 03.09.2012, 08:27 PM

I just got my rig built and the servo is doing something strange. When I turn the wheel on the TX the servo pulses. It repeatedly moves a few degrees back and forth. When I let go of the wheel the servo seems to center fine. Electronics are a DX3R, Losi RX, MMP SCT, and a Hitec 7950TH. I haven't plugged the MMP into a Castle Link yet to make any adjustments. I'm using a fresh charged 3s battery. Does anybody have any thoughts as to what's happening? Thanks.

try a novak glitch buster http://www.ebay.com/itm/Novak-Electr...ht_3062wt_1329

Also, setting end points via your transmitter can help.

There just seems to be something up with spektrum and castle setups. I've seen several e-baja guys with this problem. The cap usually fixes it.

I have an original Spektrum DX3, and a Castle MMM setup. On the built-in bec it was fine. I later upgraded to the external BEC so I could get the full benefits from my HV Savox servo. Turns as smooth as butter. I don't have any filters or anything.

Thanks for the tips guys. I found a cap in my electronics box so I'll give that a try first. I also found a few BECs so I'll probably end up running one of them to get the most from the servo.
