Save FDR for Speedrun - 09.27.2015, 02:12 PM

Hi,
which gearing will be save for a 1:8 buggy (weight about 3,6kg) speedrun with road tires? Castle 1515 and MMM on 6s.

I'd start with it geared for something around 120kph-130kph no-load speed and then slowly work your way up from there.

What do you consider safe? You can gear for and achieve 160kph with that setup, but I would only do that for individual speed runs allowing time to let the electronics cool down between runs.

Back to back runs will have to be closely monitored by checking temps frequently.
