bk 9920 problem... help needed before returning product... - 06.15.2006, 09:19 AM

hi all,
i just have bought a Feigao 9L + warrior 9920 controler, and I encounter problems with it...
I arrive to program correctly my controler, i can hear the beeps then plug back the red caliper on the esc, after that I unplug my receiver and batteries. When I turn power on, nothing happens... i didn't try to invert the motor wires order... do u think i have to try this? it seems to not be a solution...
I tried to modify EPA and trims, but without success...
Before asking this question I've readen many post about 9920, and didn't found anything that could help me.
I've tried to programm with and w/o the bec connector plugged, result is the same, motor does'nt want to run...

Do you think that it could come from my transmitter settings??? my EPA is at its maximum... I use a Graupner XS6-Race...

before trying this system I ran a HV-Maxx system, really more convenient to install, and to program... just a simple touch... after all i'm not satisfied of my new system, I would have better time to buy a new HVmaxx for that price...

Any help would be really appreciated!!!
All thanks,
Fagzz.

I want to precise that i use a rx pack during programming session... (but i programm with the black jumper plugged, if it isn't plug i don't arrive to programm the controler)
Do you think that i have to use the stock warrior BEC during programming?
I didn't try to programm the controler with the BEC enable (and w/o rx pack)... i will try tonight...
the problem does not come from my rx, because my servo works well...

I have had an case where the plug going in the rx would hit and not go in all the way. It would beep and could program it but it was hard to get to go or do anything. Try to plug it in the steering and see if you can get it to go. Yes the hv maxx is very easy. The power of you new system is more fun.

Peace!

I had a similar problem because of a bad connection. Check your connections. The connection might make enough contact to make the beeps but not enough to carry current through it.

ok guys, thanks for your help.
I tried to plus the controler onto the steering channel, but nothing happened...
What connection is important? Do you think about motor connectors???

my batteries are good as possible...

the idea of Squeeforever is right imo, but i've not found any bad solder, or damaged connectors... my batteries are well, my receiver too... but it's a synthetized receiver... from Graupner... perhaps it's due to this rx??? i have to try with my old tq3 tx and rx.... i will let u know...

Is your receiver new? Try programming it without the steering servo, i had a bad one that caused my whole reciever to glitch and the motor would not run right as the servo took too much juice or something. I replaced the steering servo and it worked. Also, program without the bec plug in.

I think Squee is right about your connections, but it also sounds like there is not enough juice so something can be taking it, do you run a shifting servo? If so, remove that as well. Synthasized receiver? Try stock rx and tx too.

I thought all my connections were good as well but turns out that they weren't. It didn't seem loose but a really good tug and it let loose. Soldered it up and it worked fine afterwards.
