Probably the two biggest upgrades are the new gray tranny case and the slipper clutch (although the old slipper clutch was fine). I've gone through two diffs already with the stock plastic tranny case in the 10mins I drove my Rustler. I had to revert back to plastic because I bent the motor plate on my aluminum FLM case (I'm glad they have a warrantee!).

the the biggest different is that the stampede, and the rustler are no longer produced. "These products are no longer being produced by Traxxas, however they can still be found new and used at hobby dealers and online auctions."
who cares the new rustler and stampede is out yay!

First off, spelling and punctuation is key, mike! Second, all the older models that are out there are owned by ALOT of people, those are the people that care if its discontinued! But if hop-up distributors are still making them for it, than really the stampede/rustler users shouldnt care!
On another note, im eyeing the rustler out for sure!

I need one of these to go with my Stampede hybrid
Work because i gotta, play because i wanna
People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Edit: I was had and the pic was fake LOL
But, with these new things i would be very surprised if the Emaxx didn't get a rehash...

My guess it that it takes a bit more time to built a new e-maxx.
I wouldn't be surprised if it had a low CG batterymount and the revo driveshafts with the T-maxx 3.3 bulks/diffhousings. And the square bodypost things.
But perhaps they got wise and redesigned the entire truck and used a revo front and rear end.
It would be wise of them if they installed a single bigger motor

They may go with some of the 12t motors on the pede. Put a better esc in it with the revo shavts and knuckles.

My thoughts are that there gonna re-do it like the T-Maxx similar to what Serum said and new motors, ect. But, they probably also have some kinda E-Revo type deal in the works as well.

They wont, since the 12t motors are only for 7.2V use. If they are gonna use the Super Duty XR than they need 2. I think they are gonna make a new and imporved esc but the motors might stay the same. We will see.
The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL
