Lipos for Tekin Mini Rage - 07.24.2006, 06:11 AM

Ive got a 6.8 mini rage in my RC18t and have just brought my frist lipo & balancer

Ive brought a 4s 1500 flightpower

i jusy want to be sure it can handle the amps, its rated for 30amps and 45 amp brusts, will this be ok?

Well it can handle the amps, I run a tekin 6.8 on a 4s 830 lipo and it is insane! Faster then a mamba 8000 on a 3s lipo, be prepared for wheelies at half throttle!

I am getting 35 min. out of a 830mah 4s lipo. my gearing is 55 spur 20 pinion.

What would be a simular gearing but using a 60tooth spur?

55/20=2.75

60/2.75=21.8 or 22 pinion
