ive got a rs4mt, there a 4wd elec. but there belt drive so if your going to run some real power through one it wont last to long. id say your best bet is to convert a nitro shaft drive 10th scale 4wd truck like a hpi mt2 or something like that or convert a 1/8 scale buggy

SKiTZ, I've got an Mtroniks Truck controller and a Feigao 540c-9L running on 6000mah 4s2p Emolis. I haven't run through the entire pack at once yet, but I'd guess the runtime is almost 30 minutes. I've gotten a gps reading of 59.6 with this setup, but it is a bit overgeared at 52/14 with big Masher2000 tires. It runs fine in the dirt and on the street, but it will thermal in the grass in the 100* summer sun.

can i see some pictures of how you set that up?? where did you get that battery? how many volts? I was thinking about converting a 1/10 4wd st. I wanted to use the quark monster pro. i really like the features it has. i would love to get 30 min. runs. I would rather run nimh instead of lipos. what would give me 30 min. runs, 40-45mph, with no worrys of thermaling? what gearing?

Don't get the 7700, it just won't run efficienct enough. Get the 4600, and run 9 cells (you can run 12 but it would be too much). Or, you could get the Mamba Max ESC and run a Feigao motor like a 12s to be able to use 12 cells.

Sort of. A lower kv motor will run more efficiently with more weight than a higher kv motor can.

You should be able to get about ~18mins of runtime and 40-45mph.
