Titans or ? for my Baja King - 08.19.2006, 09:50 PM

I have a dual motor 2WD MRC Baja King that has Orion stock motors (in series) in it now on 14 cells. It's not the fastest thing in the world, so I was wondering what would be a better choice. I can either buy lower turn 540 motors, say 16t or so, or, the EMAXX Titans. I'm leaning towards the Titans because of the torque but will it be decently fast? I'm not going bl on this one so these are my options.

RC10T2 - Novak SS5800 - 7-cell GP3700
HPI RS4 Nitro MT - Mamba Max 5700 - 2S 5500mah Lipo
MRC Thunder King - Mtroniks Truck ESC + Feigao 9L - 3S 6000mah Lipo

Go with either mod 540's or some of the new 550 motors that are in the Rustys and Pedes. Don't get E-Maxx Titans...

You would be mid 20's or so with the Titans...The others, Maybe 35+

The 550 Titans in the rusty and pede aren't meant to be run on 14.4 volts, though.

Yea, neither are what he's running. But there not getting 14.4 volts. There getting 7.2 because how there wired. There wired in series, not parallel.

Oops, I thought he meant that the batteries were in series and not the motors.

Both are in series right now. I would run the Titans in parallel like they were meant to. I will probably get some mod 540s then. Thanks.
