What are the sizes of the 19 motors comparable to? I assume they are all the same diameter with longer can as they go up from 1920 to 1930, 1940, ect. What is the diameter compared to other BL motors, 380, 540?

How do they compare in size class to the Feigao motors? Just from looking at the pics, it looks like the 1920 = 540s, 1930 = 540l, 1940 = 540xl. Isn't there a 15 series as well, I would assume they are 380 class?

Thanks. I'm just trying to understand the Lehner and considering buying a couple.

The Lehners are good motors, very efficient. The Neu's are good to. As far as the question in size, you just about got it right. You gotta look at the specs though to make sure the motor is right for your application. What are you putting them in and we can better assist in your choice.

The 1920's are small motors. They can push an emaxx, but you'd be better witha 1940 and up. This would also depend on what batts you are running too.

You mentioned the Neu motors, not to change the subject of the thread but is there any ryme or reason to the names of the Neu. How do you figure out the size/turns and such?

the 19 series use a 19mm large diameter magnetic rotor, the 1940 has a 40mm long rotor.

it's a 540 sized motor.

A 1950 is capable of delivering 6000 watts of power. (with 400 watts of lost though)

The B4 I would go mamba. The maxx I would go lehner 1940 or 1950, Neu...1515 2.5d. The neu's are 4 pole motors. the 1515 2.5d is like the 1950/8

Thanks Serum. So the numbers represent rotor diameter and length in mm. That makes more sense to me now.

Thanks again. I think I'll go with a 1940/8 and 5s lipo. It's going to be a while though. I have to upgrade the drive-train.

I like the mamba ESC in the B4, but the 5700 motor I got ran a little hot if I gear it for claimed speed. It's very comparable to my old Novak vel 6.5, in terms of power and heat build up, both on 2s lipo . I was looking for something more efficient in that power range.

The 1950 has a 19 x 50 mm rotor.
The xl can motors have a 19 x 50 mm rotor.
The lehner is much higher quality.
The neu has some odd size listings. The 15 12 is about 60 mm long in can.
They are fatter in diameter though. It is kind of go by the kv rating to fit your needs.
