Hey, since you didnt reply to both my pm's i though id post a thread to ask you some questions on your lsp conversions.

Im gonna be doing a LSP-R conversion (on its way from tower , should be here late this week). I was wondering if you think the new 10000mah cells would fit on one side of the lsp? I think it should fit since the diff is sort of swayed to the right.

I will be using lehner 1950 7T hi-amp with MM/fan/UBEC . I was thinking of using it with 4s2p maxamps 8000 lipos but firgured it wouldnt give enough voltage to the motor.. I was think of using 5s1p 10000mah cells but would be a waste if they wouldnt fit. Thanks.

whats the width of the batery pack doesnt it say its dimensions on maxamps.. and if so mesure it and then measure your battery pack and see witch one is wider and how mutch.....

It does say demensions, but i would like some guidance by Rene since hes already done 2 conversions..

The batterys are 55 mm wide and like 155 long. Just for reference.

I would take the 4S2P over the 10k cells. they deliver more punch, and the 10K cells are a tad too large IMO.. with the 4S2P packs you are more flexible in placing them.

I may have got an ultimate batterieholder in my sleeve, i won't elaborate on it until I've got my very own up and running. (pics will follow)

I think a 1950 would be too large to be used pointing forward, which leaves you no other option than to put it on the rear. (you have got the 1950 hiamp version, correct?) this would make it harder. the non hiamp would enable you to use the plugs under a 90 degree angle, so you might have had a change of using it pointing forward.

anyway; if you have got trouble positioning the batteries, you can always make a center thingy to align the diff to the center of the chassis. (or leave it leaning to one side and put the batteries on their side) this would put the CG higher, but on the other hand; you don't need to put that 400 gramms heavy motor above the diff.

Another good thing; you can use the Kyosho 46T spur on the diff. no need for an adaptor or such.. It's a direct bolt-on..

Ok. Yea i have got a 1950 7t hi-amp motor. I will put the batteries to the side where the diff is farther away from the batteries. As for the motor i will probably point it to the rear as my choices are limited. I already have a 44T kyosho spur ready for it anyway. I am very interested in your battery mounting idea. Please share it :) I think it would be pretty even since the motor , esc, and servo will be on one side, and the batteries and receiver on the other. thanks.
