Little question. - 11.18.2006, 10:43 PM

Hey I just got my hyper 7 converted today, and I've got all the hardware mounted. I've got a little problem tho, whenever I start to plug the batteries (12 cells) into my esc (9918) it sparks at the connection. I don't want to try to drive it if it is going to short my batteries or screw up my esc. I just hope I haven't screwed it up yet. Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

The spark comes from charging up the capacitors on it. No worries.

Peace!

Did you remove the jumper before you plugged the batteries in?

Alright, so I got it programmed, but now when I turn it on, it immediately goes into full throttle, and when i hit the break it revs faster, and hit the throttle it breaks. I think when I first turned it on I stripped the diffs too... :(

Sounds like your throttle channel is reversed. Switch it back and then reprogram it.
