MM 25 amp Cut off

MM 25 amp Cut off - 01.08.2007, 06:22 PM

What should this be set at? I run the 2s in the comp x, but the 2s cut off is 6v? otherwise the nimh is 4v? Which should i use?

6 volt cut off because thats the 3v per cell limit

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Ah, i see how they are saying it now. Instead of saying 3v (per cell) they say 6v for all....thanks crazy!

Yea, they would make it alot easier just saying 3V per cell, first time i checked the MM manual i was like, wait, 6V cutoff?!


The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

I had the same reaction, which is why I asked. I had it set to the 6v to be safe....glad I was right in my initial thinking!

Even if it did it would need additional programming, like, cut-off 3v per cell, then, how many cells.

The way they have it there is less programming and still determines proper cut -off, the way you suggested is easier for everyone except for the programming people

Also takes up valuable memory

I agree with you crzy. It was just different is all. If it would have mentioned that in the instructions on what the cut off meant would be nice, then it would clarify as well without the additional programming, jsut an idea as most companies list the cut off per cell, so that is what I'm used to. But I like the idea they have with listing it as a sum.
