noob questions - 02.12.2007, 12:07 AM

hey well i have my bl setup in my rusty and i dont take it to the track too much anymore because i have fun bashing around. i might end up wanting to race it every once in a while so i have questions.

if i were to get the flm extended arms for the pede and lower the shocks a little would it basically be the same as a rusty? (it will be low and it will be wide..? correct?)

if i did the rear jato conversion would those arms be wider than the flm? i think they are i just need to be sure.

i am thinking about making it 4wd because i have all the parts needed. will i have to use dual motors? i have a 5700 bl setup. also will i have to use dual batts? anyone have a link to where i can find a way to do 4x4?

thanks alot guys!

dont think u can do 4wd with bl, unless u use to motors and speedos hooked in with a y connector, and even then it might run wierd but idk anyone hoo has tried it

and i think they would be the same on width, but the jato is cheaper

You could do 4wd, but it does require 2 complete power systems (motor/ESC/battery). At one time I did have 4x4 Stampede, and I made a tutorial on how to do it:
http://www.4x4pede.freehomepage.com

SH Z-Car, Custom Crawler, 8s Savage, 12s XTM XLB 1/7 buggy, 4wd 4-link rear/IFS Pro4 truck, Custom Hyper 10 Short Course, Belt-Drive Mammoth ST 1/8 truggy, 4s 17.5 MM Pro HPI Blitz
