question on g 3 suspension - 08.07.2005, 01:53 AM

Hi all,new guy question.I like the looks of the g3 but I don't like the shocktowers.can you use the g3 arms with a dace t maxx tower or would that negate the whole geometry of the suspension?the reasons I dislike the towers is I have the dace towers with the meugen wing mount and I want to keep them plus I like roto start and it looks like it would be hard to use shaft start with the g 3 towers.anyway I'm sure you guys/gals can point me in the right direction, thanks much.

Good question.

I have the G3 suspension and CF Ext Chassis but I'm not sure if different towers could be used. I'm sure Mike and others will know the answer.

Yes, different towers will work with the g3 suspension. You may not use the levers, depending on which shocks/towers are used, though, but the suspension works perfectly fine without the levers or g-maxx tower. On one truck, I use Nova Low profile towers without the levers(4 shock setup).
Welcome to the forums, as well!
I can get G-maxx or UE parts, so whichever is your preference.
