A little progress on my E-maxx - 01.07.2007, 11:30 PM

Here's a partial build shot of my E-maxx. I'm hoping to get the BL system in it next weekend to take it out for a test drive.

i am a little disappointed in the chassis it looks way cooler in the pictures on FLM and RC monster and it just looks out of place on an emaxx and i don't like the look as good as i thought i would. No offense skellyo you did a nice job on the truck i just don't like the chassis now that i actually see it on the emaxx i think it looks better in the pics. IMO it just looks to long or something, mabey it is the point at the end or the or the amount of space between the trans and the rear shock tower. Very nice truck though it defiantly looks bullet proof man that chassis is thick that think must be indestructible. It Looks good though nice truck really, i just was not expecting it to look that different than the pic on FLM's website.

It also looks a bit longer because I've got a Gmaxx single speed tranny conversion as well. The tranny is half the width it was before.

yeah that may be it sorry about the last comment it was just not what i expected, but every time i look at the pic i seem to like it more and more, i think the reason i am seeming to like it i little more than 5 min. ago is because i cant get over how beefy it is that makes it cool.

I'm not at all offended by your opinion of the chassis. I chose it simply because I only bash with my maxx and wanted something that will hold up well to abuse (with a great warranty too) and also have a higher center of gravity than a Gmaxx chassis. I wanted it to remain more of a monster than truggyish (wow, new word there).

Actually, I think it looks quite beefy and strong. If anything, I would say it must weigh a lot. But there seems to be enough machined-out areas to keep it light.

Pretty too. Now, you just gotta put the motor, batts, ESC, and receiver on there! ;)

Yeah, they aren't the prettiest, but I got them cheap...$22 for the whole set. I couldn't buy anything that looked better for that price, much less a beadlock.
