Will a 15t/46 on jammin CR overheat? - 06.15.2007, 11:23 AM

Will running a 15t pinion with a 46t kyosho spur stock tires BK wanderer/fegiao 8xl and 12 cells overhear a MM? I did Brian G's speed calculator and that puts me right where I want with speed.

Thanks.

I ran my Hyper 8 with an 8XL, 4s Lipo, 18/46 gearing, and a fan on the MM. It ran quite well. So 15/46 would run well also :).

Should be no problem. I have run much taller gearing than that in a buggy with no issue.. Just not with that motor. Id expect that you will be fine.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
