Does anyone make a 6 volt/5 amp UBEC?

As the title says do any manufacturers make a 5 amp/6 volt UBEC? I have very thirsty servos :028: Links would be nice too :018:

About the best I have seen is 3.5 amp. It says it will run 4-6 digital servos. What servos are you running?

IIRC, someone is going to be coming out with a 6A UBEC, but can't remember who. However, you could use two UBECs running at the same time, but it would take some modding to the wiring to do so. Do not simply parallel them unless it is specifically OK to do so (like the Dimension Engineering ones do).

Castle Creations is working on a UBEC that will be able to do something like 10amps burst and take up to 6s Lipo (unless the specs have/will change).

I like the current rating of that one (if it indeed can put out 5A continuous), but the low V warning is kinda unecessary. Removing the speaker and wire would be the first mod I would do to it. :)

Thanks for the help guys its much appreciated. Im running a KO 2174 and a JR Z590M, i think 3 amp would probably be enough but thought if there was any 5a on the market i may as well get one. May look into that Integy setup but from previous experience with Integy i'm a bit wary of their claims :eek:

I am using the Koolflight systems Ultimate Ubec, its 3 amp cont. and 5 amp max and does fine for me

That BEC works quite well, maintains a solid 6v, and puts out decent voltage even when overdrawing at ~4.5A. I did a test review of it in the General Electric section.

Why do you need the stall amps?

Want to find out minimum amps it will run on whilst still producing peak torque/speed keeping in mind i'll also be running the JR Z590M for brakes.

right now i'm running a cirrus cs70 200oz servo, its a little slow but the G2R revo turns so fast it doesn't matter. I have run the voltage sensor for my nomadio on it, and no matter how hard i steer it, it never drops below 6v
