Looks like somebody won't be going back home alone...

(of course I'm talking about the trophy {plaque} for his buggy run at the Battery Blast in New Milford CT, USA!)

It was great spending time with you guys Sat & Sun...

Way to go DAF!!!

The fact that you ran the buggy instead of the xray tells me you didnt find the dif pinion you needed. Too bad, that xray would have torn up the competition.

Glad you still got to run... and run pretty well by the looks of it.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Thank you Mac for putting that one up, you da man my friend. Was cool meeting you out there again.

Tell you what guys, I was leading that race... until a Deans came loose! Next time I'll hardwire. That sucked.

But still, I had an awesome time there. I qualified first for that A-Main, was pretty thrilled about that. It was a nice day out there in Connecticut, I was enjoying myself.

Jeff, it would have been so cool if you got that extra day. I kept thinking that. And yeah, I would have just loved to drive the XRay man. But I'll have the replacement part in Mikes mailbox here tomorrow, and we want to go out to the barn again and get a bit of wheeltime together... I still have a couple days left here. (maybe anyone here would like to join us, for an evening of extra racing?)

Thank all of you.

Daf

That sucks about the deans connector coming apart. I have always used a small ziptie to hold the two plugs together. I just run it between the two wires where they are soldered onto the plug and pull it up nice and tight.

Well, I am still here in the states. NY, check the location under my Username
But I think Cali would be again the same distance from here as it was from Switzerland to NY. The good old US of A is a pretty big stretch of land. Though I hope I can make it to the West Coast too, one day.

It's not that far away, I guess you could always walk, or even run....Forrest Gump style. Think you can grow a crazy beard along the way like him too?
