went to my LHS today to get some parts, and put a deposit down for the new emaxx. i'm the first in line! the dude said traxxas lists dec. 15th for the release. no price was listed yet, but he said probably about $350.

he also had the twin VXL emaxx listed from traxxas on his computer - and they have a release date of dec. 30th. it has a traxxas part number and everything, so it looks like it's going to be released at the end of december! (despite what the traxxas dude is saying on the traxxas forums - 'no brushless emaxx will be released in december'. either he's lying, or traxxas is feeding the hobby stores with false information. i have my name down for that one too, should it be released... but i'll get one or the other. prolly the VXL.

if i get the brushed maxx, i'll drop my LMT 1940/7 in and get the single motor mount. the brushed motors and ESC2 would be cool to have on hand to go muddin' or drive through snow, so i'll probably keep those around.

Im glad you arent one of the ebay people that reserved one for $699.

No, I have a hookup with my lhs, I will get it for cost. I was just saying that some people just can't wait. I guess if they have the money it does not matter. Just like women's clothing, the new stuff carries a very high price, and the ladies who want the newest fashion pay out the hoha to get it!
