Got my E-Revo Running!!!! - 02.08.2008, 01:38 AM

Well after about 10 months of getting my truck together I finally ran it today!!! All I can say is that I am a very Happy camper.

My Set Up

Revo 2.5
9XL Fieago
MM ESC
A123 4s2p
Mechanical Brake (though I have not hooked it up yet)
Locked into second BriannG Style.
FOC
54 tooth Spur 20 tooth 5mm pinion (one day i'll upgrade to MOD 1)
Top Speed around ~25 (this is perfect for the small track I go to)

After all the time I spent on it I was more than pleased. I don't know when if ever I'll get videos up but there are enough out there. Hopefully I'll get pics up soon.

My day lasted about ~1 1/2 hours mostly doing my final tinkering. I ran for about 20 mins straight taking it easy ( I can't drive) then I broke my gorilla straps!! Both of them!!! So that's how my day ended...I am not even mad because my revo ran so well. Plus everyone was looking and checking out my ride...hehe.

Anyone know of anything better than gorilla straps?

I use 2 G-maxx straps on each side. Just double them up. That seems to stop the breakage.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

I did the same on my e-maxx, worked great, never broke another strap.

That's what I had. I had one going length wise and the other across the width. I did it that way cause the only support I have from the battery tray is one the bottom. I dont have any side to side or front to back support coming from my tray. Do you think I could have had my straps too tight? Are you saying I should have two going width wise and two going length wise?
