Eagletree V3 150A+? - 03.13.2008, 04:10 AM

Hi I currently have an Eagletree V2 but I have left the USB lead at the lakeside somewhere, I have a couple of new setups to try out and looked on the Eagletree site for a replacement, whilst there I saw the V3 with 4x the memory and 2 extra inputs which would be useful as I really want more temp sensors for the motor and cells, but the big thing for me would be the 150A max as oposed to the 100A mine is rated for, I have a very amp hungry setup on the horizon.

My question is, does anyone know how many amps the 150A version will read? my 100A rated V2 reads up to 140A, so if it cuts out at 150A its not worth it to me and I'll just buy a cable for the old one, but if it is similarly underrated and will log around 200A I'll get the new version.

I don't have the Eagletree, but I have the BNB Products DPR-150 and it also goes over it's rated AMPs. It has shown 180A when my Schulze went up in flames. I think Eagletree sell higher AMP sensors.

Some guy in rcgroups switched current sensors with one of this:

I can't find the link, but the info might be in here:
