Maxamps 6500HC 7.4V 30C Battery - 10.23.2008, 07:13 AM

Maxamps have got another Hard Case Battery. Hopefully more will be coming out.

MaxAmps.com presents the ultimate hard case racing pack. As you racers know, the most important factor for your batteries is voltage under load. This pack boasts a 30C constant rating for all your amp hungry racing setups. It will maintain higher voltage under load than any other lipo battery pack on the market. Plus, you'll have no problem getting plenty of runtime with 6500mah of capacity.

30C Constant Discharge (195amps)
Hard Outer Case
139mm x 47mm x 27mm
7.4 Volts
6500mah Capacity
12.7 ounces

Wow. That's quite a claim. I wonder if/how they plan on proving it.

It will be a great pack if it lives up to the hype. I wonder if they've changed to higher quality cells. It'd be interesting to find out.

I remember Jason saying if I need anything after my 2 packs almost burst to just ask. I wonder how 2 of these packs will do in my drag car which has asked for 178A already . What do you guys think?

I can't belive that they have not released the 100c cont packs yet. Or the solar powered flashlights. Or the submarine screen doors.

I will offer to discharge any 2S pack at 200-300 amps on video and graph the voltage vs. time as well.

I'm not paying for the packs though.
