PAPA'S Project - 12.18.2005, 01:00 PM

Well I finally put this thing together. I am very happy with the way things have sorted out. At this point I still need to handle the wiring, of the esc ubec receiver and batteries. I'll be using lipo. I hope you like it as much as I do. Your comments questions and recomendations are appreciated. Now if I can just link in a few pictures.

Thats it for now. More to come soon.....

Papa, your truck is by far the nicest ive seen in a while, the way you set it up and put it together, id reccomend you lower it a bit if you are going to race it which i think you are. Edit** i also think you should put the motor in the middle position on the motor mount to distribute weight evenly around the truck, unless your using lipo on the other side?

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

I thought about using the middle "high" position on the motor mount. I thought that the weight might put to much stress on the mount and mess with the gear mesh when under stress. I doudled up the bracket on the Side for the same reason. This truck will have lipo in it. However the packs will be the same weight from side to side. With repect to set up. I am hoping that when fully loaded it will settle in. The rear suspension is closer to level as it sits now. My arms are all the way out as it is. I could move the shock upper in to lay them out a bit more. Hopefully the additional battery load will square it away. I still need to adjust camber and toe.

Yeah, your front isnt alligned but your rear looks ok, If the motor sits on one side, you could put the controller on the other:)

The length comes from...
UE Setback arms.

and UE chassis extension.

The body is Proline Crowdpleazer for MGT,LST, TNX, Genesis
It is huge. However the wheel wells do line up.:p

I guess you have to wait papa. Looks real nice. I like the cf and aluminum look to. Do you have a weight on it yet? I am just curious. :D I thought that is what the body was for. Looks good with the sliver and wing. Let us know how the first run goes.

Peace!

My digital scale only goes to 5lbs. I may head to staples in a bit. I'll toss it in the car and use the postal scale.
