Where to buy BK warrior ESC's? - 03.30.2009, 12:33 PM

I can't find any site where I can buy a BK warrior ESC. Do you guys got some sites where I can see the specs of those ESC's and the prices?

Thanks,

Patrick

Specs here: http://www.bk-electronics.com/catalo...a4me90agr4mf93

Just curious, why BK? Unless things have changed, they only run 2 pole motors (not even sure about slotted vs slotless), have no LVC, and the BEC is linear type (limited to ~2s lipo before external one needed).

lol, probably cheap for a reason!

I hesitate to buy electronics from eBay because you can never be sure how it was used. The motor could have gotten hot often, which isn't good for the magnets. And who knows what the conditions of the bearings are in. And the ESC could have some blown FETs; it would "work" on the bech, but have issues when you try to pull some current.

If you live in the States and your ESC decides to let the smoke out, have fun getting it repaired. Like linc said, they are very outdated, and expensive for what you get.

Yeah, BK escs are a bit "outdated". I still run a 9920, but in a touring car on 5s lipo. About the best performance I have seen from one so far.

What's the street price for used BK's? Or what do you think you will get for your BK 9920?

I looked at the specs, and yes they aren't very cheap for what you get. But it's so a damn cheap combo
And if the ESC will smoke, I don't bother, it was damn cheap! And I'll just put my MMM in it.
