Thats if you go in a straight line dont break traction by turning at over 5mph.

Just curious, why dual 5700's? Any variation in kv will cause one to run a little slower reducing efficiency. IMO, just get a single 60 or 70mm Medusa.

It has a transmission for each wheel. and with the stock brushed motors and gearboxes it gets over 2 hrs(no lie) of run time with 4100mah packs.. Any loss in efficiency wouldnt really be noticeable.

Have you figured the kv of the stock motors yet? I doubt they are much over 1500kv, so going to a 5700 kv motor will quadruple your speed... Not sure if a pair of 5700 motors will be able to handle that load. Will this be rc completely, or do you plan to ride in it?

stock kv is somewhere around 1800. and it does about 6mph now...

Yes i Do know that it will quadruple the speed.. As for load there will be very little because the transmissions are 147:1 reduction. so it should be easy on motors.

Will be completely R/c

Do you happen to have any motors linc? i know you have a secret stash

As far as matching motors go I do not have anything right now. I have a cc 4600 and 7700 motors that I planned to sell off... Novak have the 5.5 and 6.5 original ss motors for sale reman right now, 40 bucks each... That is a smoking deal. I can usually get 50+ for a cc motor...

I was planning to do the same thing with a pink barbie corvette until I had the great idea of attaching it to the back of my friends moped via rope and riding in it. We got hurt a ton of times from turning at like 20 mph, drifting and smashing into curbs sideways. It took just about all day to break which surprised me. Dont be afraid to jump in off curbs. It can take it.

We attempted to jump off curbs with it but man it killed when you received the whiplash after you landed from the sudden tightening of the rope. My neck killed after that but man it was fun while it lasted.
