Damn, that really sucks. I really hope Castle makes some more winds/sizes of their CC/Neu motor so there is a mid point between crap motors (faeigo) and top-of-the-line (Neu).

The T8 motors only come in 71mm and 76mm sizes what are CRT.5 or Hyper STe owners supposed to use? Castle or Tekin needs to make a nice 5mm shafted 50mm motor...

Yeah, the nice thing about the Medusas are the large variety that they came in. CC has a whopping two motors, and most of the others are aimed mostly at 1/8th scale, or made really crappy for 1/10 scale (like the 1/10 scale CC motors.) the 50mm motors w/ 5mm shafts for the .5s and such are perfect and were only ~$100

I have a crt.5 with the rcbros.com electric conversion, and I can fit the castle/neu 2200kv motor, which is an 80mm can. I haven't run it like that, thats just a little too much overkill, but it fits!

I'm not 100% sure about the rc-monster kit. although it looks like it should.

CRT.5 owners are suppose to spend $$$$ on a 1509 if they want the best. My only regrets I have about doing it is I could have spent the money on a bigger, badder tekin t8 for a buggy or truggy. But I do have a ridiculous crt.5 that will most likely die long before the motor does.
