I got my tray yesterday and there is no way i can use those straps. think we need and option for longer straps. These things are tiny! love the tray, just need bigger straps.

I picked up like a 40ft roll off eBay, I cut em, peel off the adhesive, stick em together (one side is hook, the other side is loop), and those are my new straps.
I picked up my 40ft roll off a clearance guy, and got it for REAL cheap!
Or you can run over to Home Depot or Lowes..

Mike has longer straps? I told him the battery dimensions, I would think he would have sent longer straps if he had them. Perhaps he was just too busy to notice.
that stuff looks like what would be best for me Brian, i will look into it

I use this stuff. It's a continuous strap. Has the loop on one side and the hook on the other, so it wraps onto itself: http://www.lowes.com/pd_319820-388-9...Ntk=i_products

I agree 100 percent. We are the big power, big batery guys on this site. 4S is for wimps!!!
Tekno's large tray is big enough for 5 and 6S Enerland cells, and the straps are long.

He has them. See the link above. I'm sure if you wanted longer straps you could just email him when you place your order and he would substitute longer straps.
Check the drop down on the link for the straps in his store. Many lengths to choose from.
The 10" is standard I think. 8" os for the CRT.5 tray and the other lengths are optional lengths.
Honestly, I use the 11" straps on my truggy so I can run a big fat 5s 6000mah pack for long mains. The 10" work, but just barely. The 12" is very comfortable for the bigger pack, but its almost to long on the more normal size packs.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

I made my own battery straps because I'm using a 5S 6000mah battery. I went to the Japanese home improvement store and bought a roll and custom made some for my batteries.
