rustler front lower arms -
04.17.2006, 08:15 PM
does any one know if the nitro rustler lower arms will work on the electric rulster....
im converting my rustler/stampede to all aluminum FLM/GPM products....
unfortunately i cannot seem to find the GPM front lower arms ANYWHERE!!!!
but i CAN find the nitro rustler set....
all else i need is the blue slipper plates, blue turnbuckles, and waiting on my RC-MONSTER aluminum diff gear....
then ill be mostly complete, just gotta save the money for the motor and ESC.

i would go for the flm parts. the gpm are ok for some stuff but most of it, parts like a-arms, are a no-no. they arent very high quality. i would go for the flm extended arm conversion, but to answer your question, they will work, but you need longer turnbuckles.

well, i've already got the GPM rear arms, C-hubs and knuckles, to have the FLM sliver and GPM blue mix, so thats the only reason i was trying to find them, to keep the silver/blue theme going........ everything else is all FLM... although i was considering getting the FLM extended arms if FLM can anodize them for me....... but would i need to get extended turnbuckles for that?

If you cant find the parts any where than ask Mike, he can get you just about anything for your truck(s)!
The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

I used to use the RPM LXT arms, which were extended plastic arms. Now, I use the FLM extended front arms on my Rustler, and they hold up very well. Nitro Rustler front arms work on the front (I used to use them), but they are narrow. Go for the FLM, and you can't go wrong!
