New name and color scheme again? Weird. Maybe the green color scheme and the "e" looked too much like "eco"?

Looks like there will be a Mamba Monster X sometime, but no Mamba XL X HV yet. Maybe it's just not renamed yet :)

And what the heck is the Dive X ICE HV 60? An ESC for those propeller things that pull you through the water? Cool...

Dive X is not Castle related -- we've made controllers for Dive X for years -- totally different market.

Mamba Monster X is on the cusp of release. Hoping to release to production this week.

Mamba X is further down the pipe.

Monster X is an exciting project and a terrific product.

Adds:

Data logging, including high accuracy current measurements
Torque control through closed-loop current control
Higher current handling than Mamba Monster
Smaller footprint than Mamba Monster
Full busbar design -- lowers heat generation at very high current
Latest sub-milliohm MOSFETs and high ripple current capacitors

All in all, it will be the highest power density controller available. Really proud of the work all the engineers at Castle put into this new controller.

Pictures to come...

Also --

Fully waterproof
Sensor harness (for those of you who like sensors!)
Aux radio input to tune parameters WHILE driving
Ultra high power (8A continuous!) BEC
Programmable BEC output voltage
Temperature controlled high RPM fan

And probably some other stuff I can't remember off the top of my head...

Sounds like a dream! 8S capable? Sensored! Are you going to produce sensored motors too?

6V and 7.4V bec selectable?

Serum:

No plans to produce our own sensored motors right now, but talking about possibly bundling with sensored motors in the future.

6S for the current version, 8S possible in future versions.

Thanks!

Serum most of the newish Castle controllers have selectable voltage to 7v.

I think the XL2 is pretty cool still, I know that it does 8s.

I am excited about this new 6s Mamba Monster X with all the new features! Sensors, logging, and adjustability on the fly. I never had a problem with the waterproofing on the MMM v3. I submerged it once on accident while it was running. I let it dry. Afterwards there was no problem. I did have the a MMMv3 that could on a hot day run into thermal shutdown. Then I got a more recent one with those "extreme" fets and it never would get over 140f. The MMM has always been an awesome product! Will this one have even better fets? I plan on ordering one.

Pictures sound good!!

So does the aux radio input work with the airtronics radios with code aux?

The Aux channel works as just an additional channel to the ESC. Castle link is used to determine the function of the additional channel.

For example - -the Aux channel could be used to adjust drag brake in real time.

Thanks!
