The biggest problem I had after buying it was the software won't convert formats or resolutions. I ended up buying a program online called WinAVI that will allow you to convert between the MPEG-2 format and various other formats along with changing the resolution. I can now compress my videos into less than half of their original size by changing them to .wmv files to upload to my website. I can compress them even smaller by reducing the resolution some as well.
