Mamba's first strike! - 06.07.2007, 07:41 PM

Not too bad considering the impact. I was WOT for over 200 feet, hit a speed bump, landed at an odd angle began cartwheeling on pavement, did a "football bounce" on the cartwheel, hard left into a wall.

So... This:

Plus this:

Plus ME :D

equals:

Of course I dont have spare camber links or bellcrank.

I have the traxxas blue aluminum links on order (back ordered until late june) and what aftermarket bellcrank options are available? Preferebly aluminum.

Hit me up on PM...I think I have a spare laying around you can have until your hopped up links/bellcrank come in. Just list the parts you'll need and I'll check and see what I have. I know have XL-5 Camber links, but probably also have the bellcrank too.

YOU CALL THAT A CRASH??!! J/K man I feel sorry for you, sounds like it was going good. Doesn't look too bad, though. I'd splurge and buy some new rod ends and Lunsford turnbuckles for the steering and camber links.

Get turnbuckles from Lunsford. They won't break, well they can but you have to be insane to. Then integy started making aluminum bellcranks. So that should fix it without too many problems in the future.

I won't buy cast aluminum, I'm going to e-mail Mike and FLM and see if either can make me a custom machined one.

Skellyo, I'm going to my lhs on my way home from work tomorrow anyway to pick up some tires for my maxx, If they don't have parts in stock I'll shoot you a PM, thanks!

I'm getting lunsford pins eventually, probably next month. My wife gives me a monthly budget and the Mamba blew that this month!

I'm really surprised that's the only damage, this is a durable litle truck. it was a rather spectacular wreck that ripped both rear body posts off the shock tower, no real damage there, jusr need to re screw with larger screws.
